The album’s cover features a stylised illustration of a London Routemaster bus on route 7, bound for The Four Aces, Dalston Lane, Hackney—the site of The Prodigy’s first ever live gig in 1990. The title No Tourists reflects the band’s theme of escapism and living outside the set path, rather than any political commentary.

🎉 Fun Facts & Trivia

  • No Tourists is The Prodigy’s final studio album with Keith Flint—a fact that gives it emotional significance for fans worldwide.

  • The bus on the cover connects back to the band’s roots, linking the album visually to their formation and early years.

  • Some tracks like “Need Some1” and “Timebomb Zone” sit at unusually short lengths by Prodigy standards, giving the album a more concise, punch‑driven feel than some earlier records.

🤔 Did You Know?

  • “Need Some1” contains a sample from Loleatta Holloway’s “Crash Goes Love”, adding a disco‑inspired vocal twist to the band’s gritty electronic sound.

  • The collaboration with Ho99o9 blends Prodigy’s breakbeat ferocity with punk/rap energy, marking one of the album’s most aggressive moments.

  • The album’s thematic focus on escapism and defying conformity was emphasised in interviews at the time of release.

🤦 Goofs & Misconceptions

  • Some casual listeners initially thought No Tourists referred to political or anti‑immigration themes, but the band clarified it’s about adventure and defying the expected path.

  • Despite its brevity (~37 min), it’s a complete studio album and not an EP—a point sometimes confused due to shorter song lengths and tight pacing.
