W.A.S.P. — Golgotha (2015)

Golgotha is the fifteenth studio album by American heavy metal band W.A.S.P., released on October 2, 2015 through Napalm Records. It was the band’s first studio album in six years, following Babylon (2009).

The album continues the spiritual and philosophical themes that Blackie Lawless had increasingly explored in the 2000s. Its title refers to Golgotha, the biblical location where Jesus Christ was crucified, reflecting the album’s focus on faith, redemption, sacrifice, and moral struggle.

Musically, Golgotha blends traditional heavy metal, melodic rock, and emotional ballads, creating a record that many fans consider one of the band’s most mature and reflective works.
