W.A.S.P. — Unholy Terror (2001)
Unholy Terror is the ninth studio album by American heavy metal band W.A.S.P., released on April 3, 2001 through CMC International Records. The album marked a return to a darker and heavier sound, moving away from the sleaze-rock tone of Helldorado (1999) and revisiting the serious themes that Blackie Lawless had explored in earlier albums like The Crimson Idol.
Lyrically, the album deals with religion, war, corruption, and personal struggle, reflecting a more intense and introspective side of the band. Many fans consider Unholy Terror one of the strongest W.A.S.P. albums of the 2000s.
